ESET's Nod32 has an excellent virus detection rate earning the VB100% in all eight of its most recent Windows test. This software has a number of practical features to help you monitor your computer's security including outbreak notices and history/report logging. This antivirus software wins our "TopTenREVIEWS Bronze Award" and would have placed higher if it were a bit more novice friendly. The software uses some technical terms in the interface and other areas of the product. Novices may find the higher-ranked products easier to use. Nod32 is a first-rate antivirus program that offers several levels of superior protection. However, the product is somewhat hard to understand because of the technical jargon and wouldn't be our first choice for the average home user.

1. Install and during installation:Remember to check "set update parameters later"

3. Go to task manager and end 'egui.exe' which is the ESET GUI
4. Open the registry file included in the archive
5. Open NOD32 again and press F5 (Advanced Setup)
6. Click update on the left hand side
7. Select Update Server, and select the url. Do not select choose automatically.

Overall, this program performs about as well as its competitors but BitDefender is more affordably priced and Kaspersky, for the same price, scans faster and updates more often.

F-Secure Antivirus is a user-friendly program loaded with scanning capabilities that will keep your PC secure and safe. This suite provides registry startup protection and screens emails and instant messages-to name just a few of its defensive features. While F-secure is not a huge system hog, the program does have several processes running that when combined, use more of your system than our top rated products. Nonetheless, the scan time was about average compared to the other high-ranking antivirus programs. The average person can install F-Secure and be worry free about viruses infecting their machine. With just a glance at this program, you can quickly tell if you are up to date on your virus definitions, and see if there is anything you should be concerned about.

Can't Log On to Windows XP?If that’s your only problem, then you probably have nothing to worry about. As long as you have your WindowsXP CD, you can get back into your system using a simple but effective method made possible by a little knownaccess hole in Windows XP.This method is easy enough for newbies to follow – it doesn’t require using the Recovery Console or anycomplicated commands. And it’s free - I mention that because you can pay two hundred dollars for anemergency download of Winternals ERD with Locksmith which is a utility for unlocking lost Windowspasswords. 1. Open the first rar file
2. Now go up one level in the rar browser so that you now see all the rars
3. Highlite all the relative rars and right click them as a whole and choose to set default password to the one that was provided in the post.
4. Now while their still highlted click the extract to button of the winrar gui
5. An extraction popup method now appears
6. If you look you'll notice a box that say's keep broken files tick that box
7. Should extract now disregard any warning's or errors

If you have downloaded movies, in RAR Archives that have been split up into more than one parts using a Winrar you will know how frustrating it can be coz the movie may be one you already own or it may even be the wrong one. And to preview it you need to download all the parts.
Heres a method to preview the movie by downloading only the first part.
To preview .mpg .wmv .avi .mp3 files -Things you need -1. Winrar Archiver2. Password for the RAR Archive, if it is password protected3. A Media Player like Winamp, WMP..............
How to do it -Lets assume that you want to preview a movie that has been converted into 7 RAR Archives named - claudia_ferrari_shq.part1.rar, claudia_ferrari_shq.part2.rar, .............., claudia_ferrari_shq.part7.rar.
And lets say you have downloaded claudia_ferrari_shq.part1.rar and want to preview the move inside it. (Note for this to work you must download the first part. It doesnt matter if you download any number of parts as long as they are in order, ie. dont download the last part first).Now open the first part with Winrar. And click on Extract To button

How To Reinstall Windows Without Losing Anything Here Is Another Possible Solution:easy way and tested:
1- Start WindowsXP
2- Go to the location of your source files
3- Run WINNT32 /unattendFor example, D:\I386\winnt32 /unattend ( copy & paste this command into the RUN box, then press ENTER )
Your computer will do the rest.Or,
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.Copy & paste > D:\I386\winnt32 /unattendPress Enter.
If you have i386 on your drive, you can replace D: ( if D: is your cd drive ) with the location of it.I've often need to do this to repair something that had gotten corrupted and didn't want to do a clean install.D: is the driver letter where your windows XP Cd isif D:\I386\winnt32 /unattend doesn't work then try : d:\winnt32 /unattend.

Software installation problem
Software installation is a simple basic thing which a new operater can also perform.....
Some software's even though installed in a proper way, shows a default such as closing as you open it, terminating in the middle of your work,etc....
Sometimes reinstalling the software may fix the problem, but in some cases it does not show the proper solution which indicate that your system is highly effected by virus......which an anti-virus which you might be using cant delete or even detect.
Or even sometimes your current software's like players,word files cant be accessed which is due to software problem....
i hope that this website may help you in fixing your problem.....
Any such quires, please bring to my notice such that i may help you, if i can....... and if not i can also learn something from that.......................
